What are orders?
- Orders are binding offers to buy or sell a specific type of roller bearing. An order can be set at a specific unit price, e.g. for 100 units of item 6206 2RS.
Why is my order not displayed in the marketplace?
- So that you cannot buy your own orders, the orders you have placed are not visible to you.
- It can happen that a partial quantity of one of your orders is bought or sold and the quantity falls below the minimum quantity you specified. In this case, this order will also no longer be displayed in the marketplace.
Why can't I see parts of the application on my screen?
- If parts of your application are not visible on the screen, the zoom settings of your browser may need to be adjusted. You can adjust this directly in your browser settings.
- You can find more information in our BEARING X User Guide on page 4 under point 15.
I was away from the PC for a few minutes and now the application no longer works and I get error messages. Why?
- If you have not been active in the application for an hour, you must refresh your browser and log in again.
Why can't I see my orders from yesterday?
- All orders are deleted daily at 6 pm (Central European Time) to ensure that the shown stocks are up to date.

Community
How many members are already participating in BEARING X?
- We check all members of our community and are constantly growing. Currently, many well-known traders from all over Europe, such as Germany, Poland, Slovenia or Spain, are already part of the BEARING X community.
Security
Can you see who is trading with whom and what on BEARING X?
- We cannot see who is trading with whom. This is an important BEARING X policy to protect your trade secrets. We only see that orders (offers) are uploaded to the platform every day. However, we cannot assign them to individual traders.
How secure is my data (products & prices)?
- The security of your data is particularly important to us and is therefore protected in a special way compared to other platforms. On the one hand, through our IP-based system, which prevents access by external parties outside the community, and on the other hand, through our decentralised storage system. Your data stays your data.
How do I make sure that I only offer products with prices to the trading partners I have chosen on BEARING X? Also for new members on the platform?
- You will always be notified when a new trader gets access to BEARING X.
- You then have the option of making price adjustments for them or withdrawing from the trade completely via the Black List.
How can I exclude double sales via BEARING X and my own online shop?
- To ensure that you do not sell goods twice on different sales channels, please update your stocks regularly.

What data is stored by BEARING X?
- Company data (name, address, bank details)
- Personal data (name, e-mail)
Membership
What will BEARING X cost me?
- In the first year, participation and use of BEARING X remains free of charge for you in any case. We decided to go this route because our initial focus is on developing the platform together with our users. This means that our community regularly shares feedback with us and BEARING X is thus adapted to the needs of our participants. We look forward to you actively contributing your ideas and thoughts and shaping the bearing trade of the future together with us.
- In the medium to long term, we will develop a pricing model together with the community that will ensure the continuous development of BEARING X in an economically viable way. This could be, for example, transaction-based pricing models or a membership fee. We will of course keep you informed about this. There are no hidden costs for you.
Shipping
Does the shipping and payment go through the platform?
- Currently, shipping and payment are considered individually and determined by the seller and are not handled through BEARING X. We are working together with the community to implement a transparent solution for payment and shipping on BEARING X.
- At the same time, with the start of our initiative, we want to make it possible for our participants to implement individual agreements on payment and shipping that have already been made. Furthermore, shipping costs in particular also depend on the distance of the trading partner. This means that if you are looking for heavy and large items at BEARING X, you can, for example, use filters to specify that you only want to search in Germany. Or you have already negotiated good conditions for purchases at BEARING X with foreign traders and buy the goods explicitly from these traders.
Are the transport or shipping costs then added to the price of the goods?
- As the amount of the shipping costs is currently not shown in the marketplace, possible shipping costs are added to the price in the trade file, the binding trade confirmation.
Trade
I have accidentally made a trade for a good that I do not own or need. What should I do?
- In this case, please contact the trade partner indicated in the trade file immediately. So that you can quickly solve the problem together.
I do not receive a trade confirmation after a sale, what can I do?
- Check your spam folder for the trade confirmation. The sender is: noreply@app.bearingx.io
- Check your Sell My Trades View to make sure you have entered the correct email address.
- Contact us and we will help you with your problem.
Products
Which products are traded on BEARING X?
- Currently, only roller bearings are traded on BEARING X. Other drive products will be included in the future. Do you have specific wishes or suggestions? Please feel free to contact us.
I have made a trade but have not yet received any money. Who do I need to contact?
- The best thing to do is to contact your trading partner directly. You can find the contact with the email address under Sell My Trades View.
Sales prices
Can anyone on the platform see my prices?
- You can conveniently decide for yourself which traders you show your stock or your orders to. You can blacklist traders under "Black List" in the "Company Settings". This means that you will no longer be able to trade with the selected partner on the blacklist as of the following business day. Your orders will no longer be displayed to the selected partners on your blacklist. Please note that you will also no longer be able to view the prices of the partner on the blacklist.
- You can also set individual discounts / surcharges for the prices for all participating retailers.
- Bid Button Function: With the Bid Button you can hide your prices. The buyer is then able to make an offer (e.g. on Ebay) for your products. If the offer is equal to or above your previously set asking price, the deal is closed. Otherwise, you (as the seller) are only informed about the buyer's offer.
I have received a notification of my email for a sale on BEARING X, what do I need to do?
- The e-mail contains all the relevant information for entering the sale in your own data system and starting the dispatch.

I get an error message when uploading my own orders as a CSV list. What could be the reason for this?
- First check that all the necessary fields in the list are filled in. Column H (year of production) and column I (country of production) are optional.
- Check that the decimal numbers of your prices are separated by a comma and not by a full stop.
- Check that the minimum purchase quantity does not exceed the number of pieces offered.

Can I also upload via FTP server?
- Currently this is not possible. We will be happy to assist with further questions. If there is a high demand from the community, this upload may be offered in the future.
How does the upload of stock for sale work?
- The information about their current stock levels is collected in a CSV file and converted to BEARING X format. A program uploads this CSV file with the data to BEARING X at least once a day.
